Classes

Pilates is a mind/body exercise method that is designed to give you strong, lean and toned muscle without bulk. It focuses on strengthening the core or deeper abdominal muscles that provide a support network for the spine. It penetrates deep within the abdominal while also working the pelvic floor Pilates will increase greater flexibility and mobility, which will improve your performance in everyday life.

Mat Classes

Level 1 is suitable for all fitness levels. A combination of Pilates, floor exercises utilising your own body weight and gravity as resistance. A good starting point.

Level 1-2 also caters for the beginner but includes some more challenging Pilates moves.

Pilates Circuit is suitable for everyone. This class consists of a number of circuit stations that incorporate swiss balls, foam rollers, magic circles, Allegro reformer, Pilates mat exercises, thera bands and hand weights to give a diverse workout.

Reformer is an Allegro Reformer and consists of a series of upper and lower body exercises performed on a specialised piece of Pilates equipment. Resistance is provided by strong springs combined with arm and leg straps and exercises are performed in a lying, standing, kneeling or seated position. It is essential to book for these classes as they are limited to 8 attendees.

Reformer Intro is a free 30 minute class designed to give participants a taste of this style and to ensure that when they attend the more advanced Reformer classes they can get the full benefit of the class. It is essential to book for these classes as they are limited to 8 attendees.
